ALPHA is located in the renovated building that was formerly the Challenger Center. To visit ALPHA, drive to the back of the Harris Academy building and enter through the red awning.
ALPHA is highly supportive with specially trained staff members. Students benefit from individualized behavior plans and a highly structured classroom environment.
ALPHA is committed to both positive behavior supports and academic rigor. The number one goal of ALPHA programming is to equip students with new skills for a successful return to his or her home school.
Students are placed at ALPHA through a Case Conference Committee decision once all efforts to educate the student in their home school have been exhausted.
