BHS Implements Indiana Electronic Device Law

The new Indiana law banning student use of personal electronic devices during the school day went into effect July 1, 2026. This new law (IC 20-26-5-40.7) includes the restriction of cell phones, smartwatches or glasses connected to a phone or the internet, personal laptops and tablets, gaming devices, and earbuds/headphones. The graphic below shows how these expectations will be carried out at BHS in accordance with this new Indiana law.
