BHS DITCH RELOCATION, POOL RENOVATION AND FUTURE EXPANSION

The county ditch that crosses the BHS property between Odell Street and Grant Street has been relocated.  The relocation of the ditch was needed to free space for future site development, including the expansion of parking, Senior Academy expansion, and a new fieldhouse facility at BHS. Brownsburg's school tax rate has steadily declined since 2012.  During this same time, Brownsburg Community School Corporation's enrollment has increased 36%, or almost 3,000 students.  While BCSC has committed to lowering its tax rate, it has accommodated the increase in enrollment with several renovation projects and new buildings.  All of these have been completed while continuing to lower the school tax rate.
