Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 1 – 3 p.m.
Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 9 – 11 a.m.
Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 9 – 11 a.m.
Tuesday, December 1, 2026 from 1 – 3 p.m.

All workshops are approximately 2 hours and are held at the
Administration Center located at 310 Stadium Drive, Brownsburg

If interested but don’t want to wait to attend a workshop or are unable to
attend a workshop, please contact Jeanette Snyder at (317)852-5726.


Daily Rate for Substitute Teachers:

  • $118.00 / day (subs with valid Indiana teaching license)
  • $135.00 / day (subs for teachers of special ed programs)
  • $113.00 / day (subs with sub certificate or willingness to obtain)

Hourly Rate for Substitute Instructional Assistants:

  • $15.25 / hour
  • $15.50 / hour (subs for IAs of special ed programs)



PRIOR to the workshop:

  1. Complete an online application at www.brownsburg.k12.in.us. (click on Employment)
  2. Download the substitute paperwork packet (click employment, then Substitute Information).  This packet includes instructions on how to obtain a substitute certificate, etc.
  3. Complete all required documents included in the paperwork packet and bring them to the workshop.
