Brownsburg Community School Corporation

If you are a Substitute Teacher Applicant, you must be at least 21 years of age and have completed at least 30 college credit hours.

You must complete the Classified Application if you do not have and do not plan to have a valid Indiana Teaching License or if you do not wish to apply for a teaching position.

OR

You must complete the Certified Application if you have, or plan to have at the end of this semester, a valid Indiana Teachers License and are also applying for a full-time teaching position.

Please provide the following at the time you attend a substitute teacher workshop and/or as attachments to your on-line electronic application:

• One documentated work reference with regard to positive experience with children.
• One documentated personal reference with regard to moral and character standards.
• An original transcript(s)
• Any licenses held, in state or out of state

Upon meeting the above requirements, please complete the packet of paperwork attached below.  Once all materials are complete, please contact Lisa Kelley at 852-5726 to find out the details about the next substitute teacher workshop.  Please bring the following items to the workshop:

• Drivers License
• Social Security Card
