BEMS Athletic Info

Physical Examination Requirement: All athletes planning on participating on an official athletic team at East Middle School must have a current IHSAA pre-participation physical exam form on file with the school before they can participate in any athletic activity. All parts of the form must be completed and the form must be signed and dated by a licensed physician stating that the athlete is fit for athletic participation. The physical exam must have been performed on April 1, 2011 or after to be valid for the 2011-2012 school year.

Program Support Fee of $50: All students who wish to participate on an official East Middle School athletic team must pay the $50 program support fee by the end of the first week of official practice to remain eligible to participate. The fee is $50 per athlete, per season. There will be no refunds of this fee once it has been paid.

Boys Basketball Tryouts: Monday, October 24

Other Fall Sports Practices: Other fall sports teams will begin practice and/or tryouts on Monday, August 15.
